Get shopping tips and recipe ideas using market produce from Gabriel Claycamp, Head Chef-Instructor and Co-owner of Culinary Communion, 12:00 p.m.  Space is limited. Meet at the MIFM info booth.

  • Washington State Native Plant Society and the Mercer Island Saddle Club
  • The Saddle Club will have a limited number of bags of compast on hand for shoppers (one per residence). Meet next  to the MIFM info booth.

September 7 – Back to School in a Healthy Way

Creating Healthy Eaters, by Beverly Pressey at the music canopy, 12:45 p.m.

Hoop Dance demonstration with Marcie Spah  along with live drumming by Solmar. Meet at Mercerdale Park, 1:30-3:00 p.m. 

  • Hoopdancing is a fun way for families to get fit together. Boost your metabolism, while you build, strengthen and sculpt your muscles.


September 14 – Squash Day

  • 'Shop with a Chef Tour' 11:15am and 11:45am - Lisa Odegard of Odegard Epicurean   Space is limited; sign up at information booth
  •  Jacob Bloom Jazz Quartet  1:00 - 3:00 p.m - Updated Jazz standards as played by Mercer Island High School Students!
