Pet Policy:   Only Trained Service Animals are allowed in the Market area. This desicion was made by the MIFM Steering Committee because as much as we all love our pets, sometimes they can jump up, snatch samples of food off tables, and leashes can cause a tripping hazard.  We want make sure that the Market is safe for all!     Here is what one customer from the Market had to say:

"Hi, I just came from the Mercer Island Farmers Market. What a delightful place to go!  THANK YOU for not having dogs in the market! I actually wore some slacks I didn't care about as where I have been before one goes home with the wipes from dogs noses all over their slacks or legs. Not here, and it was a pleasant surprise. Very noticeably pleasant."
