The Mercer Island Farmers Market is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors who work throughout the year with the Market Manager to bring the best local produce, meats, cheeses, artisan crafts and musicians to the Island's summer and harvest markets.

MIFM Board Position: The Mercer Island Farmers Market is looking to expand our board. This role is voluntary; the commitment is roughly 5 hrs/month and includes monthly board meetings. The MIFM board oversees all areas of the market including marketing, operations, sponsor/donor relationships, vendor selection, and more. The group is supported by our professional Market Manager.
MIFM Treasurer: This position is responsible for overseeing preparation of financial reports such as P/L, Income Statements, Form 990, running payroll, and ensuring timely submission/updates/approvals with the board. This position is voluntary. The Treasurer is supported by our Market Director and a professional CPA firm for tax purposes.
