The Mercer Island Farmers Market is thankful for the many local businesses & organizations that provide services that help keep our market open and operating.
The City of Mercer Island has supported the Mercer Island Farmers Market since community volunteers came together in 2007 to organize the market. The City provides support for logistical planning, right-of-way permits, signage, and market-day street closures. In 2013, the City thrilled MIFM by installing a completely upgraded hot water and sink system to support vendor needs. Thank you to the City Council and Maintenance Department!
Gull Industries, the owner of the 'Rite Aid' Parking Lot, allows vendors (selected by MIFM), seniors, and those with disabled parking permits to park in one row of the lot.
The Mercer Island Reporter provides articles about and ads for the market.
My Mercer Island provides articles about and promotions for the market.
The Rotary Club of Mercer Island sponsors Music at the Market.
National League of Young Men, Inc. (NLYM) is a non-profit organization for young men in grades 9-12; this structured program for mothers and their sons promotes the development of young men into community leaders through leadership involvement, charitable and community service, cultural experiences, and protocol education. NLYM volunteers support market-day operations.
